All of the beetles displayed in the exhibit are a part of the Lewis & Clark Natural History Collection. In total, their are over 500 beetle specimens in the collection. Most of the specimens were contributed by current and former Biology professors, and many were collected by students on campus. The LC Natural History Collection includes many other invertebrates, vertebrates, fungi, and lichen. Students are invited to utilize the collection to inform research questions.
